Safety Improvement — FM 2027 — Falls County

WACO – Beginning Friday, October 30, TxDOT will begin a safety improvement project along FM  2027, spanning from TX 320 to FM 712. The safety improvements include rehabilitation of existing  roadway and widening the shoulder.  

The project is scheduled to complete in summer of 2021, weather permitting. Crews will be  conducting traffic control throughout the entirety of the project.  

The project will cost approximately 3.1-million dollars and is being undertaken by Knife River Corp. 

TxDOT encourages all motorists to use caution when approaching work zones, eliminate all  distractions while driving, and watch for construction equipment and personnel.
