Second dose drive-through mistakenly turns away patients

Falls County residents were incorrectly turned away at this past weekend’s second vaccine drive through at Falls Community Hospital and Clinic. 

This mistake caused confusion for citizens who had been waiting weeks to finalize their vaccinations. A cause for the confusion at the medical facility has not been explicitly named.

If you or someone one you know was turned away and is still in need of the second dose, go to the clinic located at 307 Live Oak St in Marlin until Friday, April 16 between the hours of 130 and 5 pm to receive your second dose. 

“There is no appointment needed for these doses,” a representative said on Facebook. “All staff have been informed. Please be sure to bring your card with you.”
