Working on the present, but looking to the future

To those living on Peachtree, help is coming for the sinking spot where the sewer line was fixed.

However, the city will have to wait until it settles completely, or gets too bad to drive over. According to City Administrator, Keith Whitfield, the road crew is hired out of Huston, so they want to wait until work is absolutely needed.

The City Council will be looking for a new Council member to appoint for Katrina Whitfield’s vacancy.

Unfortunately, Ms. Whitfield had to vacate her seat because of her move out of ward one in order to be closer to her job. Whoever they appoint will hold that seat until the next election this November.
