The Camarillo family has been named Yard of the Month by the Rosebud Chamber of Commerce and Agriculture. The Camarillos moved to the Rosebud area after they retired.
Rosebud will celebrate Halloween on Main Street on Oct. 31 in downtown.
Several activities are planned.
Peggy Clark received her Delta Kappa Gamma (DKG) Society International 50-year pin at the Beta Nu Chapter meeting held in Marlin, on Sept. 10.
Lott fire units were dispatched for a brush fire Highway 320 near FM 2027 on Saturday. The fire was growing quickly and additional fire units from Chilton and Marlin were requested for mutual aid.
