Rosebud-Lott Middle and High School has hired from within to fill the assistant prin - cipal position. Allison Hicks, who has been a teacher and coach at Rosebud-Lott for five years, has been promoted to assistant principal.

Miller’s Country Store held a Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday in Lott. There was a large turnout for the free hamburgers, hot dogs and ice cream, as well as samples of their food inside. AUSTIN – Governor Greg Abbott today credited hardworking Texans and Texas employers for adding the most jobs in the nation over the last 12 months based on March 2025 employment data. Texas again hit new highs for total jobs, the number of Texans working, and the size of the Texas labor force.
