Local quarterback wins Week 11 Player of the Week honor

After what is perhaps the single most impressive season in recent Cougar history and an even more impressive week 11 performance. Rosebud- Lott’s very own Jaquorion Johnson has been named the 2017 Built Ford Tough Texas High School Football Player of the Week.

Johnson, senior at Rosebud-Lott and is a quarterback/safety for the Cougars, is one of six total players to receive this honor this week, with one player being selected from each class from private to 6A.

Ford Motor Company created this honor 12 years ago, choosing to honor six players a week for their outstanding achievements on the field, as well as their involvement in the community and for outstanding scholarship.
