Rosebrock brings years of experience to RLISD

Dr. Jim Rosebrock, Superintendent of George West ISD, has recently been named the Lone Finalist for Superintendent of Rosebud-Lott ISD.

Dr. Rosebrock served as an educational consultant, working nationally and internationally for 14 years before accepting the position of Chief Academic Officer for the Corpus Christi ISD.

Rosebrock left CCISD to become Superintendent for George West ISD which was named an HEB Excellence Award Finalist for small school districts during his first year. He also has experience as a campus principal, deputy superintendent and college basketball coach.

Rosebrock has his doctorate in Education Administration from Texas A&M University in College Station and two master’s degrees from Texas State University. His undergraduate degree is also from Texas State University where he played college basketball and was inducted into the Hall of Honor in 1999.

Rosebrock began his educational career as a college basketball coach for Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, TX and Texas State University in San Marcos, TX before moving into school administration.

He credits his vast experience as a consultant, working in all but 5 US states and two international countries for increasing his knowledge base to address all challenges facing public education.
