RLHS Cheer

RLHS cheerleaders went to NCA Cheer Camp 2023 at Tarleton State University in June. They won the following: NCA Spirit stick winner; NFHS squad credentialing; Technical Excellence for superior skills in using props; Technical Excellence for superior skills in voice projection; RL coach won the NCA genuine congeniality award; SUPERIOR ribbon for chant; SUPERIOR ribbon for cheer; SUPERIOR ribbon for band dance; one Pay It Forward nominee (Madison Funderburk); four All American nominees (Yoselin Aldana, Bailey Cannon, Madison Funderburk, Da’Nyzha Wells); Camp competition awards: (Large Varisty Division); Placed top 3 in the chant division; Placed top 3 in the cheer division; Placed top 3 in the band dance division; National Championship bid to NCA High School National Championships competition.
