JUDITH ANN CURRY

Judith Ann Evans Hill Curry, 80, passed away August 8, 2025, in the Cornerstone Nursing Home, Temple, Texas. She is now with her Lord & Savior. Graveside service will be August 17, 202,5 at Clover Hill Cemetery, Lott, TX, at 12:30 PM.

She was born in Whitesboro, Texas February 9, 1945, to J. C. Evans and Elsie Bone Evans. Judy worked as a telephone operator with Mid-Texas Telephone Company for 16 years. She then worked for the Department of Corrections in Gatesville, Texas, for 20 Years and retired in 2000.

She is preceded in death by her parents and son, Ricky Dwayne Hill.

Survivors include her sister Ruth Shepard, her sister Linda Evans Braswell, and her brother James E Evans, two grandchildren- Samantha Jo Hill Berrum and Steven Tyler Hill, four step-grandchildren Alyson Lynne Peyton, Scarlett Elizabeth Stone, Ariel Marie Nelson, Nathan Reed Todd and nine great-grandchildren, and one great-great-greatgrandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
