Monday Last Day to Register to Vote For November Election
Texans planning to vote in the upcoming November 4, 2025, general election should mark their calendars with key deadlines to ensure their voices are heard. The Texas Secretary of State’s office has released a list of critical dates for voter registration, early voting, and mail-in ballots.
Monday, October 6, 2025 – This is the last day to register to vote. Eligible residents who are not yet registered must complete their registration by this date to participate in the election.
Monday, October 20, 2025 – Early voting begins, giving voters nearly two weeks of in-person voting ahead of Election Day.
Friday, October 24, 2025 – Deadline to apply for a ballot by mail. Applications must be received—not just postmarked—by this date.
Friday, October 31, 2025 – Final day to vote early in person.
