In Class 1A, No. 21 ranked Buckholts Lady Badgers (12-2-1) lost to Prairie Lea in four sets, 2125, 25-21, 20-25, 19-25. Gabriella Vega led the Lady Badgers with 14 points, five assists, and a kill, and teammate Elyla Velez had 16 points and three assists.
In Class 2A, the Chilton Lady Pirates fell to Riesel in three sets, 15-25, 12-25, 13-25; Rosebud-Lott Lady Cougars dropped their district opener to the No. 21 ranked Bremond Lady Tigers in three sets, 16-25, 13-25, 22-25. Kaitlyn Jenkins had 10 digs and nine kills for the Lady Cougars. Addison Wilde led with 12 digs, and Hayley Meadows finished the match with 10 digs. Alaya Cavitt contributed with 16 assists.
Milano Lady Eagles dropped their district opener to Holland Lady Hornets, 3-1.
Thorndale Lady Dogs thumped Bartlett in three sets, 25-14, 25-8, 25-8. The Maroon JV swept Bartlett, 25-19, 25-7.
In Class 3A, the Cameron Lady Yoemen fell to the Thrall Lady Tigers in three sets.

R-L Lady Cougars finished off the Riesel Lady Indians in five sets, 15-25, 2520, 25-23, 14-25, 16-14, to move to (12-11, 1-1) on the season. Jenkins finished with 19 kills and 23 digs. Cavitt had 31 assists, 11 digs, three blocks, and five kills. Addison Wilde led the team in digs with 29, and Brooklyn Ballard finished the match with 18 digs and two blocked shots.
Cameron Yoe Lady Yoemen played the Rockdale Lady Tigers. The Lady Yoemen are 18-10 on the season, and 0-3 in district matches.
September 27, 2025
Milano Lady Eagles beat the McDade Lady Bulldogs in five sets, 25-23, 25-22, 23-25, 22-25, 15-10, to move to 1-1 in district, and 4-11 overall.
Thorndale dropped their district match with Granger, 20-25, 18-25, 13-25. The Maroon JV fell in two sets, 14-25, 17-25, while the Gold JV beat Granger Lady Lions in three, 25-13, 1725, 15-13.
