Rosebud-Lott Cougar Band Earns 6th place in UIL 2A State Marching Competition
Our Cougar Band didn’t just make history… they shattered ceilings and set a new standard for excellence!
For the first time ever, our band advanced to State UIL Finals, earning an incredible 6th place in the entire state of Texas for 2A marching bands out of 224 bands!
This accomplishment didn’t happen overnight. It’s the result of long days, late nights, endless rehearsals, passion, patience, and vision from the most dedicated team of directors and mentors.
To our incredible band directors and mentors —Jordan Sundermann, Travis Dent, David Vedeto, Cameron De-Hart; thank you for pouring your heart into our students, for believing in them, and for leading them to greatness. You are the dream team behind this historic moment, and we are forever grateful.
You didn’t just teach music… You taught discipline, teamwork, resilience, and pride. The Cougar band committed to your vision, dedicated themselves to working hard to reach new heights, and together — you made Cougar history.
