Cougar Band Breaks Records at CENTEX Honor Band Auditions

The Rosebud-Lott Cougar Band had a record-breaking year at the CENTEX Honor Band auditions, with 29 students earning spots in an honor band.

“This is an amazing accomplishment and a true testament to their dedication, discipline, and musicianship,” the Rosebud-Lott Cougar Band page posted on Facebook. “Preparing for an honor band audition takes hours of practice, and the students then take on the competitive process with students from across the region. This kind of success doesn’t happen by accident! Congratulations to every student who auditioned. Putting yourself out there in a setting like this is an achievement on its own, and you have grown exponentially. Extra congratulations to those who placed! You should be incredibly proud of what you earned.”
