Albert Marmon

Albert Marmon, 66, of Rosebud, died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 2021, at a Temple Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 17, at Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud. Rev. Don Fulton will officiate. Masks are encouraged.

Mr. Marmon was born Sept. 28, 1954, in Fort Worth to William and Annie Tipton Marmon. He lived most of his life in the Rosebud area. He worked for the Bruceville-Eddy ISD and for Lott Elementary School. He was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

He is survived by three sons, Gene Marmon of Springtown, Jeremy Marmon and Matthew Marmon and wife Jennifer, both of Rosebud; three brothers, William Marmon of Rosebud, Kenneth Marmon of Ratibor, and James Marmon of Rosebud; two sisters, Glenda Ellis of Rosebud and Deshannon Ballard of  Springtown; 13 grandchildren; companion, Kathleen Kruger of Rosebud; and cousin Timothy Kruger of Rosebud. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-10 a.m. Tuesday at Powers Chapel  Cemetery.

Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud is in charge of arrangements.
