Benjamin Davila

Benjamin D. (Chamillo) Davila, Sr., 73, of Rosebud, died Sunday October 16, 2016, at his residence. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday in Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Pastor Jason Davila officiating. Burial will follow in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud. Mr. Davila was born May 14, 1943 in Marlin to Isidoro and Erlinda DeLeon Davila Sr. He lived in Falls County all of his life. He married Mary Rodriguez on May 25, 1971. He retired from the Falls County Road and Bridge Department and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sons, Anthony Davila and Benjamin Davila. He is survived by his wife, Mary Davila of Rosebud, three Sons, Pete Salazar of Rosebud, Ben R. Davila Jr. and wife Heather of Belton, and Jacob Davila of Rosebud, one daughter, Debra Salazar of Rosebud, two Brothers, Joel Davila Sr. and wife Janie of Marlin and Isidoro Davila Jr. and wife Corina of Farmers Branch, four Sisters, Irene Garza and husband John of Mesquite, Mary Davila and Helen Jaimes both of Marlin, and Anita Moody of Camden, NC, two Grandchildren, Miranda and Miley Davila of Belton. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 Thursday at the funeral home.
