Bobby Skala

Bobby Skala, 51, of Rosebud, died Saturday, August 26, 2017, at his residence. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 1, 2017 at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 2, 207 at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud with Rev. Terry Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Walkers Creek Cemetery. Mr. Skala was born January 3, 1966 in Rosebud to Oscar and Dorothy Schiller Skala. He lived in Rosebud all of his life and graduated from Rosebud-Lott High School in 1984. He married Letha Kerns on March 9, 1985. He worked for Heart of Texas Electric Coop in Rosebud. Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Oscar Skala. He is survived by his wife, Letha Kerns Skala of Rosebud; three sons, Levi Skala, Gage Skala, and Aiden Skala, all of Rosebud; two daughters, Amberly Skala and Emilie Skala both of Rosebud; His mother, Dorothy Skala of Rosebud; one brother, Raymond Skala of Rosebud and one sister, Peggy Lindemann of Temple. Memorials may be made to Rosebud Volunteer Fire Department.
