DARRYL "POPS" HUBERT POWELL

Darryl “Pops” Hubert Powell 75, of Troy passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at his residence.  

A funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Keys Valley Baptist Church in Belton with Pastor Roy Jamison officiating.

Cremation will take place following funeral services.  

Darryl was born on December 28, 1941 to W.B. and Cornelia Powell in Falls County.

He was raised in the country and even raised a champion prize bull as a child. Darryl served in the Air Force and was a fifth generation Texan.

He worked as a Truck Driver most of his life. Darryl enjoyed dove hunt-
