Eliseo L. “Bucho” Rodriguez

Eliseo L. “Bucho” Rodriguez Sr., 85, of Round Rock, died Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2022, in a Round Rock Hospital. 

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Rosebud. Rev. John Kelley will officiate. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rosebud.

Mr. Rodriguez was born Aug. 11, 1936, in Rosebud to Juan and Benita Lopez Rodriguez. He married Lucille Munoz on May 1, 1964. He worked for the Chrysler Corporation in Toledo, Ohio, for 40 years.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Chabela Soto and Beatrice Luna; one son, Rudolph Medellin; two grandchildren, Irma Soto and Eliza Luna; and three brothers, Margarito Rodriguez, Vicente Rodriguez, and Toribio Rodriguez; and one sister, Guadalupe R. Cortez.

He is survived by his wife, Lucille M. Rodriguez of Round Rock; three sons, David Medellin and wife Cathy of Toledo, Ohio, Andrew Medellin and Eliseo M. Rodriguez Jr., both of Round Rock; one daughter, Irene Washington of San Antonio; four sisters, Mary Tamez and Lorenza Tamez and husband Pete, both of Rosebud, Janie Castilleja of Waco, and Refugia Arredondo of Kyle; 10 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and 27 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

A Prayer Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
