Gladys Boone

Gladys Boone, 98, of Rosebud, died Friday, September 23, 2016, in a Rosebud Nursing Home. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday in Cook-Gern-gross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud. Rev. Don Fulton officiating Burial will follow in Powers Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Boone was born March 23, 1918 near Lott to Walter and Nettie Stem Borden. She graduated from Beauty School in Houston and worked at the Shell Center Beauty Salon in Corpus Christi for over 45 years. She married Richard Earl Wright in 1943 and Floyd Boone in 1963. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, and two sons, Richard Earl Wright Jr. and James Boone. Surviviors include four sons, Michael Wright of Rosebud, Ronald Wright of Houston,  Larry Boone of Colorado, and Floyd Boone of Corpus Christi One daughter: Pamela Risley and husband Larry of Boerne 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren Visitation will be held from Noon until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
