Gunner John Wagner

Gunner John Wagner, 16, passed away Friday, June 11, 2021, in Lott. Gunner was born Dec. 22, 2004, in Waco to Jacob Alan Wagner and Robyn Nicole Kurtz Wagner.

Celebration of Life will be Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 2 p.m. at Rosebud-Lott High School Gymnasium. Following the service at the Rosebud-Lott High School, the family will have a private graveside service. After the graveside service the family will receive visitors at  Rosebud-Lott Elementary Cafeteria in Travis.

Gunner excelled at football and basketball and also enjoyed fishing, camping, and riding four-wheelers with his family.

He is survived by his parents, Robyn and Jake Wagner of Lott; brothers, Wesley and Lane Wagner of Lott; grandparents, Billy and Nancy Kurtz of Marlin, Jerry and Nancy Kindred of Bremond, and Alan Wagner of Lott; aunts, Randi Reyes of Georgetown, and Jolie Wagner of Bremond; cousins, AJ, Nikolas and Jordynn Reyes, Cierra and Cayl Wagner; great-grandmother, Billie Harris of Sulphur Springs; and numerous great aunts, uncles, and his extended family.                                        

Gunner was preceded in death by his uncle, Tony Reyes

Pallbearers will be Ben Ford, Preston Hering, John Paul Reyna, Ace Asford, Easton Fulton, Dalan Wilberg, Clayton Doskocil, and Corben Wilde.

Honorary pallbeares will be Kiara Walker, current and former teammates of the Rosebud-Lott and Westphalia football and basketball team.
