Joel Williams was a Marlin native and apart of the BTW Alumni class of 1967. He leaves behind his spouse, Earnest Louise Williams. There will be a wake at Greater Rising Star Baptist Church (5513 Como Dr. Fort Worth, TX 76107) on Friday, June 7, 2019, from 7-8 p.m. A funeral will take place the following day, Saturday, June 8, at 12 p.m. It will take place at the Greater Commission Baptist Church. 7700 McCart Ave. Fort Worth, TX 76133.) All BTW Alumni and ex-students are asked and encouraged to wear colors of purple and gold. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations are preferred and can be made out to Mrs. Earnest Louise Williams at 7520 Four Winds Dr. Fort Worth, TX 76133.
