Johnnie Edward McIntosh

Johnnie Edward McIntosh, 94, of Robinson, entered into a peaceful rest on April 15, 2021, just two days shy of his 95th birthday. He was born on April 17, 1926, in Milam County to the late John David McIntosh and Victoria Ella Kelsey.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 20, in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud. Reverend Don Fulton will officiate.

Johnnie was an honorable man with old-fashioned values and the admiration for the simple life. He was a devoted family man and a proud American that served his country during World War II. Johnnie’s love, laughter, and lesson will forever be remembered by his family. He was passionate about his family, garden, and his dogs.

Johnnie is preceded in death by his wife, Doris Hill McIntosh; two sons, Johnnie McIntosh Jr. and Joe H. McIntosh; and one daughter, Pamela Sue McIntosh Mueller. 

 He is survived by his children, Judy Gail McIntosh Nutt of Lott, Larry McIntosh of Marlin, Danny Gene McIntosh of Bremond, Steve McIntosh and wife of Lori of Robinson, Barbara McIntosh of Lorena, and David McIntosh and wife of Lisa of Marlin. He is also survived by his son in-law, Bob Mueller of Bremond; daughter in-law, Carolyn McIntosh of Marlin; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

 Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 19, at Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud.
