Rosalie Donath

Rosalie Donath, 76, of Rosebud, died Monday, April 30, 2018, in a Temple Hospital. Visitation was held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Cook-Gerngross- Green-Patterson Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 5, 2018 in Cook-Gerngross- Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud with Deacon Julian Tyboroski officiating. Burial will follow in Powers Chapel Cemetery near Rosebud. Mrs. Donath was born October 28, 1941 in Baytown to August and Leona Labay Smajstrla. She graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown and married John A Donath Sr on June 17, 1960. She and her husband were in the Nursery Business in Baytown and Rosebud. She was a member of the Catholic Church in Baytown and Rosebud. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Donath Sr. and son, Michael Donath. She is survived by two sons, John A Donath Jr of Phoenix, AZ and Robert Donath and wife, Diana of Baytown; Two brothers, Ray Smajstrla of Boerne and Anton Smajstrla of Pearland; One sister, Janie Blackburn of Mont Belvieu; and 2 Grandchildren.
