Roy D. Miller

Roy D. Miller, 89, of Lott, died Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, in a Temple Hospital. Services were held Tuesday, Feb. 1, at Faith Mennonite Fellowship in Travis. Paul A. Miller officiated. Burial followed in Clover Hill Cemetery in Lott.

Mr. Miller was born May 23, 1932, in Berlin, Ohio, to David and Mahala Gingerich Miller Sr. He lived in the Lott area since 1980. He married Nettie Miller on March 20, 1956. He worked as a baker and a painter. He was a member of Faith Mennonite Fellowship.

He is survived by six sons, Omar Miller of Chilton, James Miller of Lott, Dale Miller of Plain City, Ohio, D. Wade Miller of Lott, Lynn Miller of Sturgis, Michigan and Josiah Miller of Lott; one daughter, Mary Lantz of Lott; one brother, David Miller Jr. of Millersburg, Ohio; three sisters, Martha Raber of Millersburg, Ohio, Amanda Troyer of Berlin, Ohio, and Esta Bontrager of Millersburg, Ohio; 32 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife; four children, Allen Miller, Floyd Miller, Laura Miller and Jerry Miller; one great-grandchild, Collin Tage Stoltzfus; two brothers, Atlee Miller and Andrew Miller; and one sister, Nettie Miller.

Visitation was held on Monday at Faith Mennonite Fellowship.

Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home in Rosebud is in charge of arrangements.
