Sean Michael Allen

A memorial service for Sean Michael Allen, 49, of Rosebud will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 22, at the First United Methodist Church in Rosebud. Visitation will precede the service and will begin at 10 a.m.

Sean died Feb. 12, 2022, after an extended illness.

He was a graduate of Rosebud-Lott High School, where he played basketball and was a member of the National Honor Society. He graduated from Southwestern University in Georgetown in 1994. He was a business analyst in the power industry and helped design the program that controls the power grid administered by ERCOT.

His father Ben W. (Billy) Allen preceded him in death Dec. 15, 2021. 

He is survived by his mother, Beth Allen of Rosebud; his sister, Shannon Allen of Austin; and his daughters, Madeleine Allen and Caroline Allen, of Chapel Hill, N.C.

Cook-Gerngross-Green-Patterson Funeral Home of Rosebud is in charge of arrangements.
