PRESERVATION ROSEBUD

Preservation Rosebud will meet on Thursday, July 31, at 7:00 p.m., at the museum located at 117 N. 2nd St. Come early at 6:30 p.m., for snacks and socializing. A work session has been scheduled for Friday, August 1, at 9:00 a.m. to prepare for the Rosebud- Lott 50+ reunion reception. Visitors are always welcome.

Saturday, August 2 Check-in is 8:30 am and program begins at 9 am.

FALLS COUNTY REPUBLICAN PARTY ELECTION WORKERS Looking for a way to help promote patriotism and voter engagement?

Volunteer to be a Precinct Chair or election worker.

The Convention of States, a conservative nonprofit, is sponsoring a training program for individuals looking for ways to promote our national and state constitutions, and values. The program for Precinct Chairs will be August 2 at the Marlin Senior Center, 104 Hays St., Marlin, Texas. Lunch will be provided. Ongoing Events VOTER REGISTRATION Voter Registration, empowered by the Citizens Empowerment Project, will be held every third Saturday at 3 p.m. at the Pauline and Jane Chilton Library, 400 Oaks Street in Marlin.

MCC KIDS COLLEGE FRIDAY Fridays from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. throughout the school year. McLennan Community College's popular Kids College Friday program is open for the upcoming semester.

This full-day, hands-on experience offers children the chance to explore engaging subjects such as art, science, culinary arts, gardening, and technology. Students participate in two courses each day, designed to spark creativity, exploration, and friendship in a small-group setting led by experienced instructors.

MEALS ON WHEELS GOLINDA The City of Golinda is excited as Meals on Wheels Waco will serve its area. Everyone is invited to the Golinda Senior Activities Center, 7039 Golinda Drive, every Tuesday and Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the Golinda City Hall.
