County discusses possibility of turning struck off properties over to city of Marlin

Though the discussion was tabled for a later meeting, the county commissioner’s and Marlin Mayor John Keefer, met last Monday to discuss struck off properties.

The discussion was over whether the county should turn the struck off properties, that are within city limits, over to the city of Marlin. If an agreement is eventually made between the two entities, the city would be responsible for accepting the best bids for the properties.
