Food stamp program could face further cutting

According to President Trump’s Administration, they are proposing some major changes to the food stamp program also known as SNAP.

Based on his budget for 2019, which was revealed earlier this month, President Trump is proposing what he calls a “bold new approach” to the program.

Currently those enrolled and receiving benefits through the Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) receive their benefits to a card.
