Helping Hands starting holidays work

The Helping Hands Ministry at Lott First Baptist Church will be holding their eighteenth annual silent auction fundraiser this weekend on Saturday, October 21. Last year was a great success for the group.

The money raised allowed them do put together, and pass out 250 Thanksgiving meal baskets to the elderly, shut-ins, and those in need around the area.

After that they were also able to distribute Christmas baskets, which included food, clothes, and toys throughout the community. Along with Thanksgiving, and Christmas projects, the funds raised though events such as this go straight to community outreach, and missions in Lott.
