I won’t give you advice … but I’ll offer my opinion

Someone wiser than myself once said, “Be wary giving advice, wise men don’t need it and the foolish won’t heed it”.

I’m sure my students have said that many times to themselves and wondered why I still keep giving it out. I agree that the advice covers two groups but excludes all of us that lie somewhere in between wise and foolish.
