Mind your own business

The Sunday School class one Sunday morning was titled, “Mind Your Own Business” and was about tale bearing and gossip.

The teacher said, “Be careful of the dirt you rake up, you never know what nasty things might take root.”

The truth is, the things we dig up often takes root. Often times weeds grow in our gardens because we till deep enough to bring the seeds to the top and take root.

Sometimes life is like that, especially when we dig in other peoples “garden.”

And that is why we need to mind our own business and not pry in the affairs of others.

Paul said in I Thessalonians 4:11 “And that ye study to be quiet and to mind your own business and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you.”
