Only a handful

During a great famine in the days of King Ahab ( I Kings 17) Elijah, the prophet, asked a widow for a piece of bread. Her response to him was, “I do not have any bread, only a handful of flour in a bin, and a little oil in a jar.”
To the widow, only a “handful” was insufficient to meet the needs of Elijah. And I suppose “only a handful” doesn’t seem like much at all, but a “handful” in the hands of God is an inexhaustible supply and the rest of the account bears this out.
