Rosebud represented in Rural Texas Challenge competitions

If you were to Google “rural Texas town” Rosebud would more than likely pop up.

In fact, every town surrounding it in Falls County is a rural Texas community. There are many towns just like Rosebud in Central and Southwest Texas, and it is town like these that the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) Network’s Rural Business Program looks to help.

The SBDC Network works to improve the economies of Texas’ rural communities. To do this they hold events such as the Rural Texas Challenge, which features competitions for Texas students and entrepreneurs to come up with products or business models specifically for rural communities.
