Stress can become heavy, but we don’t have to bear it alone

There once was a man that came home from work that was extremely stressed and loaded down with troubles from his job.

When he came home that day he was greeted by his young daughter, Minnie, whose legs were paralyzed.

He was about to carry a package he had recieved in the mail upstairs when Minnie said, “Daddy, I will carry the package upstairs for you.”

The dad replied, “Minnie, how can you carry that package upstairs?”

With a smile on her face, Minnie said, “If you will give me the package, I will hold it while you carry me.”

This gesture reminds us of the way that God wants to help us with our burdens.

Jesus said in Matthew 11:28, “Come unto me all ye that labor and are heavy laden and I will give you rest.”

God is fully aware of our stresses and burdens we bare. He also wants to help us with them.

Peter writes, “Casting all your cares upon Him for He careth for you.” (I Peter 5:7)

We are all aware that the stresses of life can become etremely heavy and burdensome. The good new is, we don’t have to bear all of this alone.

God cares when we are stressed out. We should always remember that God is willing to take the load for us. Oh, what a love and caring God we serve.
