Superintendent’s Bi-weekly Report

Writing this week’s report has been difficult for me. April 3, 2017 would have been my mom and dad’s 64th anniversary. I have an older brother, Mike, who lives in Katy and a younger sister, Laurie, who lives in Corsicana. We lost our mom on January 24, 2013 (81 years old) after 16 years of numerous life-threatening illnesses. Anyone of which would have slowed down a weaker individual. Our mom was a strong-willed, determined individual. We lost our dad on April 2, 2015 (83 years old). As I have told you before, our dad was a no-nonsense, hard-working man who did whatever it took to take care of his wife and kids. I miss my folks but know that they are in a much better place where I will see them again someday in the future.
