Worry And Anxiety

How much of your time do you spend on a regular basis about being anxious or worrying about different things? It was Mark Twain who said, “I am an old man and have known a great many troubles, but most of them never hap-pened.” Jesus said, “Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the mor-row shall take thought for the things of itself. Suffcient unto the day is the evil thereof.” (Matt. 6:34) Isn’t Jesus telling us not to borrow tom-morrow’s troubles? Isn’t he telling us to live one day at a time? There are enough problems fac-ing us today. Live today. Solve today’s problems as they arise and trust in God for leadership and guidance.
