Registration is now open for the 2017 Texas Gravel Championship race being held in Rosebud on Aug. 20.

The race is sponsored by Gritty Teeth Racing out of Belton, and will include four different distances categories. The distances to choose from are 100.8 miles, 52 miles, 24 miles, and 12 miles. Within these categories there will be different races for men and women, along with tandem, fat tire and single speed championships for the 100.8-mile course.

Anyone who wants to give it a shot can sign up at bikereg.com/texas-gravelchampionship2017. The entry fees for each distance are 65 dollars for the 100- mile course, 45 dollars for 52 mi. course, 30 dollars for 28 mi. course, and 20 dollars for the 12 mi. course. If you sign up the day of it will be an extra 10 dollars.
