Over 35 descendants of Arthur and Josephine Hensel and their guests met at the D. Brown Library for their annual Hensel Family Reunion in Rosebud. The reunion is held every year on the first Sunday in October.

On October 11, 2025, the Catholic Church observed the Jubilee of Marian Spirituality and a Rosary for Peace in St. Peter’s Square, presided over by Pope Leo XIV. The purpose of the International Rosary to Mary Day on October 11, 2025, noted “World Rosary Day”, was inspired by the heartfelt invitation of former Pope Francis to dedicate the year 2024 to a worldwide “symphony of prayer” in preparation for the Jubilee Year 2025.
