Baseball/Softball Weekly for Central Region

Softball and baseball playoffs are here and teams are fighting their way through the playoffs.

Rosebud-Lott

The Cougars defeated Granger 5-2 and Bartlett 14-8 this past week. They lost to Anderson-Shiro on Saturday, April 25, 10-4 in a warm-up game.

The Cougars will take on the Johnson City Eagles in the Bi-District Championship. The first game will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 30. The second game will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 2. If needed, the third game will be 30 minutes after the second game.

Cameron

The Yoemen defeated Lexington 11-2 and 13-3 this past week to wrap-up district play.

Thorndale

The Bulldogs defeated Holland 10-0 on Friday to wrap-up district play.

The Bulldogs will take on Mason at Manor High School on Wednesday, April 29. The first game will be played at 5:00 p.m. and the second game will be played 30 minutes after the first game. The third game is to be determined if needed.

The Lady Bulldogs fell to Johnson City 7-1 in the first game of Bi-Distirct on Thursday, April 23. Thorndale came back on Saturday, April 25, with a 17-7 and a 9-8 win to clinch the title and move on to the Area Championship.

The Lady Dogs will take on West Hardin on Wednesday, April 29, at Columbus High School. The first game is set for 5:00 p.m. and the second game at 7:00 p.m. If needed, the third game will be held on Monday, May 4, at 7:00 p.m.

Milano

The Eagles defeated Somerville 3-0 on Wednesday and fell to Somerville 12-2 on Friday.
