Cougars end season

The Cougar basketball team closed the season out with a loss to the Grapeland Sandies 75-62 in the regional quarterfinals.
Several Cougars were rewarded for their play by district coaches:
John Reyna was voted as the 17-2A Defensive Player of the Year.
Steven and Zack Buhl were voted First Team All-District, and Nathan Truesdale received Second Team honors.
Jordan Landrum who was injured for over half the season came back to win the District’s 6th Man of the Year award and Johnathan Adamez was Honorable Mention All-District.
They are looking forward to building and progressing as a program with eight returning players.
