Cougars are keeping pace

The Rosebud Lott Cougars have started to smooth out some of the wrinkles in their game and as a result they are presently keeping pace with the rest of the teams in their district.

The Cougars are sitting at 4-5 on the season and coming off a thrilling 1 point victory over neighborhood rival Marlin Bulldogs. The game was a nip and tuck affair throughout with neither team able to gain a significant advantage. The Cougars relied on the outside presence of point guard JaQuorion Johnson and the inside power of post/center Brady Hering. The two provided the scoring punch for the Coogs, with both players scoring 10 points each. Shooting guard Jeremy Truesdale added 9 points to the 38-37 victory over the Bulldogs.
