Cougars defeat Goldthwaite 36-14

The Rosebud-Lott Cougars football team hosted the Goldthwaite Eagles on Friday. The Cougars were victorious, winning 36-14. 

The defense was absolutely stifling as they only allowed seven points each half. 

They had a sack from Daniel Rodriguez and interceptions from Carlos Saucedo and Moses Fox.

The offense was fueled by the running attack as they combined for 462 rushing yards. Moses Fox contributed with 139 yards and a touchdown, Kyle Finan had 147 yards and a touchdown, and Breon Lewis had 106 yards and three touchdowns. 

The Cougars will not be playing on Friday as it will be their bye week. Their next opponent will be the Crawford Pirates. The game will be at home on Friday, Sept. 23, and kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
