Cougars fall to Marlin
The Rosebud-Lott Cougars football team hosted the Marlin Bulldogs on Friday, Oct. 27. The Cougars were shut out by Marlin, losing 34-0.
The Bulldogs overpowered Rosebud-Lott in the first half, going into halftime leading 27-0. The Rosebud-Lott defense held the Bulldog offense to just seven points in the second half, but continued their struggles on offense, remaining scoreless in the game in order to lose 34-0.
Pryce Rabroker had some struggles Friday, throwing for 50 yards along with an interception, and Jamarquis Johnson caught six passes for 26 yards and a touchdown. With this loss, the Cougars have a record of 3-6 and a district record of 3-3.
Up next for Rosebud-Lott, they travel to take on the Moody Bearcats for their regular season finale. The game will be on Friday, Nov. 3, and kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
