Cougars fall to Marlin, set for season finale
On Friday, Oct. 25, the Rosebud-Lott Cougars football team hosted the Marlin Bulldogs.
Rosebud-Lott was defeated by Marlin, losing 46-15.
Marlin started the game strong with a 19-0 spurt in the first quarter and entered halftime leading 26-7. The Bulldogs continued to pile on in the second half, outscoring the Cougars 20-8 to win 46-15.
One of the lone highlights of the game was in the first half on a trick play. Pryce Rabroker threw a lateral pass to Carson Kahlig, who then threw a 51-yard touchdown pass to Bo McGinniss for their lone score of the half.
Another highlight of the game was when Rabroker threw a 62-yard touchdown pass to Kade Kleypas in the fourth quarter.
With this loss, Rosebud-Lott has a record of 6-3 and a district record of 2-2.
Up next, the Cougars will travel to take on the Crawford Pirates for their regular season finale. The game will be Friday, Nov. 8, and kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
