Cougars Win

The Rosebud-Lott Cougars football team hosted the Valley Mills Eagles  on Friday. The Cougars handily defeated the Eagles, winning 31-14. Rosebud-Lott went into halftime with a close 17-6 lead. The Cougar defense stayed consistent in the second half, and Rosebud-Lott outscored the Eagles 14-8 in the second half to win 31-14. Kyle Finan had an incredible game, throwing for 248 yards and two touchdowns, along with rushing for 94 yards and a touchdown. Moses Fox also had a great game, rushing for 80 yards and a touchdown. The receivers for the Cougars were incredible. Jamarquis Johnson caught eight passes for 71 yards, Breon Lewis caught eight passes for 90 yards, and Jayden Thomas caught five passes for 53 yards and two touchdowns. Their next opponent will be the Marlin Bulldogs. The game will be in Marlin on Friday, Oct. 28, and kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
