District 17 basketball honors announced

District 17 has announced district and all-district awards for the 2021 season. The Rosebud-Lott Lady Cougar Basketball Team finished their season last week with a playoff game against Axtell. The ladies came in second place in district play. 

Defensive MVP: Emma Hering; first team all-district: Hannah Willberg and Zakiya Larkin; second team all-district: Lakya Jackson and Kiara Walker; and McKenzie McGinniss received an Honorable mention.

Academic All District players were Kayley Robertson, Jackie Salazar, Jaymi Patterson, Kiara Walker, Mikayla Edwards, Lakya Jackson, Emma Hering, Hannah Willberg, McKenzie McGinniss.

“The coaching staff would just like to take a moment to say thank you for all the hard work and dedication these young ladies have put into this basketball season,” said Coach Paul Edwards. “Our four seniors will be greatly missed!”
