gone, year. Season comes to an end, but not hopes

The season may be over, but hopes in Cougar Country remain higher than ever for a soon to be championship run, something that has eluded RLISD since their amazing State Championship run of 2002.

In a season that ended with a 2-9-1 overall record, 1-5-1 in district contention, the Cougars continued to struggle in finding different ways to finish off opposing teams.

However, the offense put up about 128 points while the defense allowed roughly 261, these statistics show that while there is work to be done, the Cougars still continue to improve on both ends of the ball.

One thing that RLISD can take away from this season is the fact that they are the best team to come out of Falls County this season, with dominating wins over both Chilton and Marlin, both games away at the opposing teams home fields.
