Hoelscher tosses first pitch

It was stated earlier this year, prior to the start of the Rosebud Youth Softball and Baseball season, that Mrs. Hoelscher would receive the honor of tossing the opening pitch this year.

The sesaon opener was originally supposed to take place on Saturday, April 7, but was cancelled due to sudden stormy weather conditions.

The cancellation came to the dismay of many, but it was not long before another date was set for the opening games.

With the new date set just a few short weeks later, the teams began to put the extra time to good use by getting in extra practice.
