Hooked by the horns

The Rosebud Lott Lady Cougars came into the game with plenty of high expectations after their run in district play but someone forgot to tell the Axtell Lady Longhorns.

Axtell, who finished third in their district played just well enough and made just enough shots to claim a 41-37 victory over the Lady Cougars. It was one of those nights when nothing the Lady Cougars did could turn the tide of the game in their favor.

Alexandra Minor, Rebecca Bennett, Hannah Hering, and O’Cemaria Huitt kept the Lady Cougars in the game but their efforts would come up just short in this match up. It was a good season for the Lady Cougars who performed above expectations all season long.
