Johnson headed to State

Jamarquis Johnson punched another ticket to State, winning the Silver Medal in the Triple Jump at the Regional Track Meet last week.

State will be May 12 and 13 in Austin.

Area results

The boy’s track team was second in area.

Kyle Finan was second in 110-meter hurdles.

Breon Lewis was third in high jump, second in triple jump, and fifth in long jump.

Jamarquis Johnson was third in triple jump, second in long jump, second in 100-meter, and second 200-meter.

Easton Fulton was third in discus, and third in shot put.

Nolan Kahlig was sixth in shot put.

Zane Zeinert was fourth in 110-meter hurdles.

Jordan Landrum was first in 300-meter hurdles.

Jason Allison was fifth in 800-meter.

Fox, Lewis, Saucedo, Landrum were fifth in the 4x200 relay.

Allison, Landrum, Finan, Fox were sixth in the 4x400 relay.

The girl’s track team was seventh at area.

Mariah Bouvier was sixth in the 800-meter and fifth in the1600-meter.

Mercedes Buhl was fifth in high jump and fifth in 200-meter.

Bailey Cannon was fifth in 100-meter hurdles and sixth in 300-meter hurdles.

Kinley Jenkins was fifth in high jump.

Kinsley Edwards was first in discus.

Chloe Vega was fifth in pole vault and first in the 100-meter hurdles.

Aldana, Bouvier, Cavitt, Jackie Landrum were sixth in the 4x400 relay.
